Shape Our Village (SOV) is an online ABA caregiver training curriculum for BCBAs. It provides ready-to-use videos, guided discussion questions, activities, and practical resources for caregiver education and engagement sessions, including sessions billed under CPT code 97156.Instead of creating training materials from scratch, BCBAs can use SOV to lead structured, individualized conversations that help caregivers apply ABA principles in everyday life.

SOV is designed primarily for BCBAs who provide caregiver education and engagement as part of ABA services for autistic individuals and their families.While the BCBA facilitates each learning unit, SOV supports the broader family team—including caregivers, RBTs, and the client—by building shared understanding, communication, and consistency across settings.

Currently, SOV is designed to be facilitated by a qualified professional rather than used as a stand-alone parent course.The professional facilitator helps connect each topic to the child’s individual needs, supports discussion and problem-solving, and ensures that clinical recommendations remain individualized.
